The Vlei Café Cottage was recently renovated and was used as a farm stall in the December holidays. It is now used as accommodation during the year. It is a quaint rustic style farm cottage, open plan inside, with a small kitchenette and bedroom living area.
Overlooking the seasonal wetland or “vlei” and farmlands, you have beautiful views … you will see why the farm got its name with flamingos, coots, herons but to name a few bird species, making the vlei their home.
Getting away to the farm and the “nothingness” of country life, is a real break from the rush of the city. … slowing down, is what its all about!
